What the Yahoo SERP Checker does
Yahoo Search still carries a few percent of searches in the United States, Japan and among older desktop users, and its results come from Bing's index with Yahoo's own layout, ads and ranking adjustments. Sites that depend on Bing traffic should check Yahoo too, because the positions are close but not identical, and a Yahoo result page shows fewer organic results above the fold.
This checker fetches a Yahoo result page for your keyword from the regional Yahoo site you choose, reads the organic results from the HTML and lists them with their titles, snippets and real URLs. Yahoo hides destination URLs behind r.search.yahoo.com redirect links; the tool decodes them so each result shows where it actually points. If you enter a domain, the tool marks its first position and every other page of the domain in the list.
As with Bing, Yahoo may answer an automated request with a page that has no result list. The tool reports that plainly instead of showing a stale result; a retry a minute later usually works. Positions are organic only: ads, news boxes and image strips are not counted.

Common questions
Mostly. Yahoo has licensed Bing's web index and ranking since 2010, but it applies its own layout and some reordering, and the regional Yahoo sites differ from Bing's markets. Expect the same pages in a slightly different order, and more ads at the top of the page.
Yahoo routes every click through r.search.yahoo.com to record it. The destination is in the RU parameter, URL-encoded. The tool decodes it so the list shows the real URL of each result, which is also what you need when comparing against your own pages.
The tool asks for fifty but Yahoo serves a single page of about ten organic results to a fresh visitor, sometimes fewer when a news or video block takes a slot. A domain outside that list is not on the first page in that region.
Not separately. Everything that improves your Bing ranking also improves Yahoo, since the index is shared. Use this checker to confirm the two agree and to notice if one of them has dropped a page, which can point to a crawl or rendering problem rather than a ranking issue.
